Meet Clara

Clara grew up in Oxfordshire, England. She completed her BSc in Psychology in 2001 and went on to open her own business in Sports Psychology, Personal Training and Nutrition. Following her heart, Clara sold this business and retrained as a teacher with the desire to give every child a positive experience of education. Once qualified, Clara focused her attention on inner city schools with a high immigration population. Here she began to develop a keen interest in language acquisition, literacy and bilingualism. 
 

Clara has held several management roles in both the U.K and Switzerland but has always maintained a presence as a classroom teacher. She moved to Switzerland in 2017 and worked at an International Bilingual School in Luzern for 4 years, in positions of Management and Head of Special Educational Needs. She holds qualifications in Special Educational Needs, Understanding Dyslexia, and is currently working towards a Masters in Education. Clara's belief that every child has the right to a supportive and stimulating educational environment, led her to leave mainstream education and set up her own consultancy; Let's Get Learning.
