English as an Additional Language

Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) curriculum is a science-based program uniquely designed for children who either need extra support with the mechanics of reading and writing in English, or who do not have English as their native language. Using internationally recognized level descriptors, we provide exceptional English instruction that exceeds the standards of many other EAL programs.

 

All classes are taught by native English-speaking, qualified teachers, ensuring your child receives accurate grammar and pronunciation guidance throughout their learning journey.

Let's Learn English - Beginners

This course is for children who do not have English as their native language. ​

​One-to-One or small class sessions are available.

(We have a policy of 6 children maximum per class)​

 

Is your child new to English or feeling unsure about speaking the language? Our beginner class is designed to build their confidence in a supportive, fun environment. Through engaging activities and interactive games, we help your child feel comfortable while immersing them in the English language.

 

During this session, your child will:

  • Begin learning the foundations of reading and writing in English, focusing on phonics, rhyming, and syllables.

  • Become familiar with the English alphabet.

  • Explore numbers, shapes, and colours.

  • Learn the names of animals, people, and places.

  • Practice giving and responding to simple instructions in English.

  • Learn how to ask and answer basic questions.

  • Express likes and dislikes on various topics.

  • Understand simple stories and retell them in their own words.

 

Our classes are structured to make language learning fun and accessible for children, helping them build essential communication skills.

Let's Learn English +

If your child is able to use English to communicate and can read and write simple sentences, then this session is for them

If you are unsure which class to choose, contact us to discuss.

Through exciting topics such as;

  • The World Around Us

  • The Egyptians

  • Space adventures

  • Heroes

  • Cultural Festivals and Celebrations

Your child will:

  • Continue to develop their phonic knowledge and spelling strategies when reading and writing English.

  • Apply these to write increasingly complex texts including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

  • Enter the world of Grammar - Nouns, adjectives, superlatives are just the beginning!

  • Engage in discussions with peers and adults about relevant topics, giving opinions on likes and dislikes. 

  • Become confident English speakers!
